About Us
With nearly two decades of hands-on experience as a Field Service Engineer in diagnostic medical imaging, I founded Medical Radiation Consultancy to deliver independent, high-quality compliance testing and radiation safety services across New South Wales.
I have been a Field Service Engineer for major vendors (including Philips and AGFA) for many years, specialising in the installation, repair, and maintenance of General Radiography, and Fluoroscopy systems as part of these roles. However, my passion has always been grounded in the physics, image quality and quantification of system performance. I enjoy validating the systems are operating as the manufacturer had truly intended!
This deep technical background, combined with a strong passion for image quality optimisation and radiation safety, led me to become an EPA-accredited Consulting Radiation Expert (CRE – Accreditation No. 5114461).
Accreditations are;
RAR – Radiography, Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) and Chiropractic
RAF – Fluoroscopy and BMD
RAV – Veterinary Science (Radiography, Fluoroscopy)
I am committed to helping hospitals, private radiology clinics, and veterinary practices achieve and maintain full compliance with NSW EPA Radiation Standard 6 (Parts 2, 4 and 6) while minimising downtime and ensuring the safety of both patients and staff.
Based in Sydney, I serve the greater metropolitan area.
